OUR MISSION

The Middle Eastern Virtual Clinic (MEVC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, accessible healthcare to underserved children in Egypt—particularly those living in slums, orphanages, or low-income families who lack proper medical services. We connect volunteer American, Arabic-speaking doctors with children throughout Cairo via virtual consultations, walk-in clinics, and follow-up treatment. In addition, our Ramzy Farag Pediatric Clinic (RAFA) division offers a traveling in-person clinic staffed by local service workers and employees who identify prospective patients. These patients receive care from our highly trained volunteer physicians—both on-site and virtually. MEVC ensures that all prescribed medications, tests, and procedures are fully funded through donations and grants in the United States. We believe in comprehensive care, which is why we provide both short-term follow-ups (covering medications, tests, and procedures) and long-term follow-ups (ensuring continued support and treatment). Through this blend of virtual and in-person healthcare, MEVC strives to bridge the gap in medical services for children most in need.
